Brief 1 Still Life Proforma | AS Photography

Hi guys, so today I have a very special post for you. I am currently in lower sixth studying Photography, Maths and History at college. The main use of my blog is photography and as you guys seemed to like it when I shared my GCSE portfolio with you. Therefore I thought I would also share what I am currently working on. The first brief we did was still life, however this is made up of numerous different projects based off a variety of photographers and ideas. Obviously in photography you don't just take photographs and there is a whole portfolio of work to go along with these photographs but I'm just going to share with you the edits as these are the most interesting. Anyway I hope you enjoy my still life images!

New-quay Summer 2017 | CAWM

Hi guys, it has been a while...

I actually wrote this post last summer but never uploaded it and decided it was about time!

You may have noticed I have stopped my online presence on both my YouTube and blog and it has been over your now since I have uploaded anything. However I still would like to post every now and again!

For instance these are my holiday photos from my most recent summer holiday with me and my family (excluding the brother and dog). As recently I have been on holiday to the beautiful coastal town New-quay which situates in southern Wales near Ceredigion. Much to my delight we spent the majority of the holiday walking, excluding the beach day I forced my parents to let me have, this at least offered some amazing photo opportunities as the views were spectacular. It has also done wonders for my skin which is finally starting to clear up, but that's irrelevant.

Anyway here is a combination of both mine and my dads photos of New-quay:

I discover panoramas on this trip and decided to take a lot- some where successful however some aren't quite as good, however they give a good insight on your surroundings which otherwise a single picture might not always be able to convey- plus they're fun to do!

My Photography GCSE Portfolio

Hi guys, so I received the results yesterday for my GCSEs and I thought I would share with you my Photography portfolio. I love photography as a hobby but studying it at school has probably been the most stressful experience of my life (as well as doing Drama). However I did get an A* and 100% so I guess it all paid off in the end.

Firstly you have 60% coursework, completed over 2 years taking shots and evaluating and explaining what you did, as well as lots of research into the topics and photographers surrounding that certain topic. So that plays a key part in the GCSE and you're not just marked on the images you take. However here are my finals for the coursework for which I got 180 marks out of 180.

Anyhow a while back me and my friend, Elen, went on a day trip to Chester zoo. It was such a nice day and of course I took a whole load of photos so i thought I would share them with you as you guys seemed to really like my Come Along With Me: Berlin Zoo post!

What I Got For My Birthday 2016!

Hi guys, and welcome to today's post! So 2 weeks ago it was my birthday- I am officially 15! So of course I have to do a 'What I Got For My Birthday' as I love doing them and I know for a fact you guys like me doing them - last years is the most popular blog post I have ever done! So anyway I am also doing a video format of this where I explain the products in detail so go watch that here! Anyway I am just going show you what I got in more detail through pictures so you can see close ups of everything I got. (*Side Note* If you click on the first image you can see the photos in a gallery format which would be probably a better way to view this post!)

February Favourites | 2016

Hi guys,
Well it has been a long time! I am so excited to write this blog post for you as I have felt it brewing since November, but somehow kept missing the upload each month, but now it's finally here - it's a monthly favourites and this month is February.

So as I have had a tonne of favourites recently, and these are truly my honest favourites - I have been loving each of these items so, so much recently (and I have used them all) I am so excited to share them with you. So, lets get on with it!

On my list first is make-up and I will start with mascara and the one I have been loving is the Maybelline Lash Sensational and sensational it is! It is truly the best mascara I have ever tried and it's drug store! I really think it's better than mascaras like 'benefit they're real mascara' and it's so much cheaper. This mascara bring so much length and volume to your eyelashes - it looks like you have false eyelashes on, in a good way, and it really lifts your eyelashes up from your roots for maximum lift and volume to ensure a fuller, bigger look. Also the packaging, oh my gosh it is beautiful! I just think it looks so smart and sleek and I'm also a big fan of the colour, I know the packaging shouldn't mean anything but I am a big sucker for nice packaging and a complete girl when it comes to choosing my make-up and I'm sure some of you are the same. I don't know how I ever lived without this mascara it is so good and I honestly think I will repurchase this when it runs out - and for me that's huge as I never even use up one mascara. I'm constantly moving on to new ones and disregarding my old ones, but I  love this one so much and if you haven't tried it and need a new, amazing, drug store mascara then you should seriously consider picking this up - a 10/10 from me!

The next product is an eye-shadow palette and this is the w7 in the nude. If you love make-up and have been dreaming about owning a naked palette but you are on a budget then these palette might well be the perfect solution to your problems. They are so similar but you can get them for under a tenner! I personally haven't tried the naked palettes so the formula might be completely different but I honestly really like the formula of these eye-shadows though I think they could be a little bit more pigmented - they feel really nice and have a great range of shades for you to try. I have been using this palette most of times I felt like wearing eye-shadow and generally want to look a bit more glam. They have a really nice selection of glitters and sparkles and look great for a night out but also look super subtle for a more day-to-day look. I honestly think these palettes are great and as it was the first thing I tried from w7 I am excited to try more from this range as the products look really nice, but also because they are amazingly affordable.

The next product is a nail polish remover this is actually incredible, and I believe every nail polish lover needs one of these in their life as it makes life so simple, quick and easy. It is the Bourjoir Magic Nail Polish Remover and 'magic' is the key word here. It honestly takes like a minute to take off all of your nail polish and probably not even that. You are probably wondering how it works, right? Basically the inside of the bottle is lined with foam, I think it's foam anyway, which is saturated with nail polish remover. In amongst the foam is a hole and you just put your finger in and wiggle it about and the nail polish on your finger just dissolves right off into the foam and it is done! No need for cotton wool, no need for mess and no need to spend ages on your nails! It's in a really cute, small bottle so it's easy to transport or use on the go if your in a huge rush- it's honestly perfect!

The last make-up item I have been loving is bronzer. I am pretty sure I have been ill through the whole of February and the majority of January so I have been looking pretty ew. To solve this I have been loving the Bourjois Chocolat Bronzer as it has been making me look a lot more healthier and less like death and well, like a real, living zombie. I love this bronzer, however recently not as much as every time I see it, or smell it, it makes me want chocolate and I have given that up for lent! However, saying that if you are a big fan of chocolate you should totally get this as it looks like a cute, chunky, chocolate bar and it even smells like chocolate! I mean it doesn't smell as good as Dairy Milk but it definitely smells good with a really great scent. I have also been loving this bronzer as it is more of a bronzing bronzer which sounds silly but most bronzer's nowadays tend to be more contouring bronzer's and a lot darker and this is not that, this won't make you look like you have the most amazing, chiselled features or a jawline you can cut cheese with, but it will make you look less pale and more glowy and healthy looking. I like to dust this under my cheekbones and on my temples and forehead to make me look less ill and generally more awake and alive!

My next favourite is beauty related as after all those make-up favourites you need something to take them all off at the end of the day. For this job I have been loving the Nivea Daily Essential Double Effective Make-up Remover. This is so cool and looks amazing as it has two solutions; a water based solution and an oil based solution. This means the two solutions separate and you have to shake up them to mix the two together, which is so much fun! I don't know the science behind this and why it works but it just does, and really well I might add. You just have to glide this on your mascara and it's so easy to apply, and the cotton wool pad doesn't get all stuck to your eyelashes and removes every last particle of mascara to leave your eyes all fresh and make-up free.

The next thing is for your body and this is the Body Shop Shea Body Butter or just body butter in general. I have absolutely been loving moisturising at the moment and especially as it is winter and colder so you have drier, duller skin. I have been mostly using this on my legs as my skin reacts really badly to shaving and I am really prone to getting shaving rashes and just itchy skin around winter time, so this has really helped reduce that so shaving isn't such a nightmare any more. I also just feel like my skin looks less dull, healthier and with more of a glow about it. I love this scent as well as it is very fresh and natural which just means it's not in your face but really nice and subtle. I mean I'm pretty sure most of you know how amazing the Body Shop body butters are but I never really used them that much but now I might use it every Sunday or if my skin feels particularly dry or itchy - I just rub some on and I have been just really loving it!

Now on to random favourites - the next thing I have been loving is 90210. This TV show is honestly so addictive and it has Matt Lanter in it, which makes everything so much better because he is just drop dead gorgeous, but the show itself is also pretty amazing. When I first started watching it to be honest I didn't even know what it was about. All I knew was that Matt Lanter was in it so I had no idea what to expect but basically it begins as a high school drama and follows a group of friends through school and eventually on to college. It is 5 seasons of jam-packed drama, romance, plot twists and just really good looking people! If you are looking for a new show to watch and you are into high school based TV shows with romance and relationships etc then I highly recommend this to you as it is so good.

So that is it for this blog post and I hoped you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you did then please let me know in the comments. And if you haven't already then make sure you check out my YouTube channel here, where I upload weekly.

Love you all lots, bye!

My New Years Resolution!

Hi guys, so today I'm doing a blog post about new years resolutions. I think it's always good to have aims, goals. 2015 has been amazing year with me plucking up the courage to start a you tube channel and going out with my friends more however I am excited to see what 2016 has to offer. I hope I achieve some of these goals by the end of the year and I can look back on this and hopefully see I have achieved something- hopefully! I think all of you should set new years resolution and have goals this year, so here are mine!

1. Be Healthier

By this I mean the obvious eat better exercise more regularly and just live a healthier lifestyle. I am the worse as I'm writing this I'm eating a box of malteasers! I am probably the most unhealthiest person ever I used to be so much better and this year I want to get back to that I've done it once I can do it again!

2. Reach 1k Subs On My Youtube Channel

I know that sounds insane and when I started I thought I would never get that many subs and I have been so extremely lucky and even though 1k sounds like so many subscribers I am only (as of today) 295 away so I reckon I can get 1k by the end of the year!

3. Keep My Room Tidy

I have started to try and keep my room tidier recently and this year I want to keep it up! This might be as simple as picking up clothes off my floor or making my bed every morning but it makes a huge different to my day and just distresses me and starts my day off to a good start.

4. Read more books

I love reading and I feel like I don't do it enough! This year I have really lacked in my reading time and that makes me really sad. I love reading not just because it's a fun to read but also it's educational and improves your imagination and English skills- overall reading is a good thing to do and I want to do it more often.

5. Produce More Content

This is pretty straight forward I want to produce more content for my YouTube channel and blog- especially my blog! This year I have really neglected my blog and I want that to change. I have been making weekly videos over on YouTube however I want to blog alot more starting now!

6. Make Friends

Sounds easy right? Unless you are the most socially awkward person ever this year I hope to make more friends and maybe even some YouTube friends!

7. Live life to the fullest!

This is the last one- live life to to the fullest. By this I mean simply be happier and take every opportunity in my strive.

So that is it all my new years resolutions! Some of these are harder to achieve then others but I have faith in myself. I hope you all had an amazing 2015, let me know what your new years resolutions are in the comments. I hope you enjoyed this post!

October Favourites!

Hi guys and welcome to today's post! So you might be aware that I haven't posted in so long! I have multiple reasons and excuses for why I haven't been posting but the main reason is due to my YouTube channel, which I have recently started so if you haven't already it would mean a lot if you went and checked that out buy clicking here! Anyway lets get on with today's post. I have an October favourites for you; Autumn is by far my favourite season and there's just something so special about being all toasty under some blankets and watching films whilst drinking your hot chocolate! I just love October and these are my favourites from this month!

So my first favourite is a lip product - this isn't a particularly Autumnal shade but I have just been absolutely loving it. This is the Revlon lip-gloss in the shade sun-baked and this is definitely better than my lips natural colour. It's so hydrating, which is perfect for this time of the year as it glides on really nicely and isn't too sticky. However, at the same time it stays on really well. It's also quite big and there is a lot of product in the tube. I have been loving wearing this for school and I keep it in my blazer pocket to reapply whenever my lips feel dry! I got this on holiday from the Factory Shop which means I got it cheaper than normal.

The fun questions tag!

Hi guys, I realise I haven't posted in a while and the reason is that, for some unknown reason, my photos refuse to upload on Blogger.  I have tried everything and it still isn't working so I was thinking I will do a post that doesn't need photos.  So, why not another tag as I absolutely love doing them and they are really quick and easy to do and they don't need photos! So lets get on with the post!

Summer Look-book | Summer Trilogy!

Hi guys, so this is the second part of the summer trilogy and today I thought I would do a look-book for you as I have wanted to do one of these for a very long time and I am so glad I have finally done one for you guys! I apologise for the cringe worthy poses I had no idea what to do, and some of these were actually taken by accident as it was on timer!
