My Photography GCSE Portfolio

Hi guys, so I received the results yesterday for my GCSEs and I thought I would share with you my Photography portfolio. I love photography as a hobby but studying it at school has probably been the most stressful experience of my life (as well as doing Drama). However I did get an A* and 100% so I guess it all paid off in the end.

Firstly you have 60% coursework, completed over 2 years taking shots and evaluating and explaining what you did, as well as lots of research into the topics and photographers surrounding that certain topic. So that plays a key part in the GCSE and you're not just marked on the images you take. However here are my finals for the coursework for which I got 180 marks out of 180.

The other 40% of of the course is exam work. We had about a month prep for this and then the actual exam itself was 10 hours (broken down over 3 days). This was highly stressful but I managed to get 120 marks out of 120! You had to focus on a question and mine was architecture, and as I was going Venice I used this as my source of images.

This last one is my all time favourite and I am so proud of it!

So that is all my favourite finals which I used in my GCSEs. I hope you enjoyed looking at them because a lot of hard work went into producing them! I hopefully will be posting more photography based posts and sharing my holiday pictures with you soon!
